Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books encourages a love of reading while strengthening comprehension, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Students read selected books and work collaboratively to answer questions, fostering both academic growth and a passion for literature. The program is run by Ms. Borja and Mrs. Mouat.
STEAM

STEAM integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in all students. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students explore real-world problems and develop skills essential for the future.
Math Field Day

Math Field Day features fun team and individual challenges that build strong math and problem-solving skills. Team events include engineering, modeling, STEM activities, and problem-solving tasks. Individual challenges include mental math, Rubik’s Cube, and scavenger hunts with math-based clues. The team is directed by Mrs. Loo and Mrs. Wellikson.
(ECOS) Science Camp

Emerald Cove Outdoor Science Institute (ECOS) offers a hands-on outdoor science camp where students explore ecosystems, plants, animals, weather, and natural resources through guided activities. Through nature hikes, simple experiments, teamwork, and environmental stewardship, students develop curiosity and appreciation for the natural world. This program is assisted by Mrs. Loo and Mrs. Wellikson.
